We use cookies on this website. A cookie is a text file sent by a web server to a web browser, and stored by the browser. The text file is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables the web server to identify and track the web browser.

We may send one or more cookies which may be stored by your browser on your computer. The information we obtain from cookies is part of the Collected Information. Our advertisers and service providers may also send you cookies.

Most browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies. (For example, in Internet Explorer you can refuse all cookies by clicking “Tools”, “Internet Options”, “Privacy”, and selecting “Block all cookies” using the sliding selector.) This will, however, have a negative impact upon the usability of many websites, including this one.

To improve Our services and this site, we may retain third party service providers to operate this site and help Us monitor, collect and analyze information regarding Your interactions with this website and data you input, including through the use of such providers’ cookies on your computer.

We may use all Collected Information, including your personal information to:

The use of carrier services through our platform is at your own risk. We are not responsible for your use of carrier services. Your use of carrier services is as a direct customer of the specific carrier you decide to work with and you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of that carrier for use of their services. By providing information to certain carrier services, you are consenting to the collection, use, processing disclosure, and transfer of information. Your interactions with these service carriers are governed by each carrier’s privacy policy.

Third party websites

Our website contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of third party websites or such site operators’ actions including the collection or use of your personal information.

Do not track

Currently, various browsers – including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari – offer a “do not track” or “DNT” option that relies on a technology known as a DNT header, which sends a signal to Web sites visited by the user about the user’s browser DNT preference setting. ShipHawk does not currently commit to responding to browsers’ DNT signals with respect to the Company’s web sites, in part, because no common industry standard for DNT has been adopted by industry groups, technology companies, or regulators, including no consistent standard of interpreting user intent. ShipHawk takes privacy and meaningful choice seriously and will make efforts to continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology and the implementation of a standard.

Accountability for onward transfers

ShipHawk may contract with third-party providers to perform certain functions offered as part of the Company’s products and services, e.g. data center hosting services, a SaaS survey solution, and SaaS IT service management software.

Upon request, ShipHawk will grant individuals reasonable access to their Personal Information and allow the individual to correct, amend, or delete information that is demonstrated to be inaccurate or incomplete, except where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the privacy of the individual in the case in question or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated.

In this regard, ShipHawk depends on its customers to update and correct Personal Data to the extent necessary for the purposes for which the information was collected or subsequently authorized by the individuals. Consumers may contact ShipHawk as indicated below to request that ShipHawk update or correct relevant Personal Data.
